The Secret Council of Professors, Rocking Chair and Wednesday

Thing have been pretty dang busy around the Campbell household. Preston and I have had a lot of final papers, projects and exams for the end of the semester. Interesting how they all fall on the same 2 or 3 days of the entire semester. There must be a secret council of professors who get together and decide "hmm, well we all have so-and-so in our classes, so lets all make our gianormous final papers all due THE SAME DAY!" Thanks secret council of professors. We really appreciate it.

We are looking forward to this upcoming week though. Preston's parents and brother are flying in from Florida for Christmas! We haven't seen his parents in over a year! So it will be really nice to be able to spend some time with them. We are trying to convince them to move out here to be closer to us. Too bad it's wicked cold. Otherwise, it might not be so difficult to persuade them. We'll see how thick their skin is when Elliott is born. Grandkids are like an addiction for grandparents. They have to have their fix. I'm evil aren't I?

Oh, I also wanted to post a picture of this chair. I bought it a few months ago and for some reason never posted the pictures of it.

It obviously doesn't really look like this. It really looks more like...

This.

Gotta love those yard sales. Preston really likes rocking chairs. That was the initial reason I bought it. Its funny, every time we come home, he tends to gravitate to this chair when we are talking and he will just rock away. It's cute.

That's pretty much all that is going on in our lives right now. Nothing terribly interesting has happened. But I feel some blog-able events coming up very soon. (Wednesday!)
