I don't normally do this, but I feel like if I didn't I would be doing all of you a REAL disservice. Preston and I recently went to see the movie "Doubt". We were awed by it and highly recommend it to every last one of you. It is truly amazing. I wont give anything away but if you do decide to go see it, PLEASE let me know what you thought. It isn't doing very well at the box office, I think due to lack of publicity. But it has been nominated for 5 awards which are well deserved. So, save up your pennies if you have to, get a sitter, stop watching TV and GO SEE IT! You wont regret it!

I'm not as much of a deep thinker as you, but I did get a lot out of that movie. On the way home we had a great talk about the pillow being cut open, the doubts of the nun at the end, and a couple other things I forgot about. I was definately amazed at the talented acting and loved the setting of the old school house. It was nice to watch a movie that wasn't just pure entertainment. We usually go to action movies and we were both surprised at how the movie made us think about our views of the world and how they can taint our vision of reality.
I just heard about this movie a few days ago and looked it up to find out when it was playing so I could see it - it's not playing here in the Valley anymore. There's one theater in SLC still showing it, but I'm so not motivated to drag my behind up there to see it. Hopefully it won't take too long to come out on dvd.
