Ok, so here's the update...I went to the hospital today to try and beg them to induce me...no such luck. But they did check and monitor me for a little over an hour and it turns out that I AM having contractions, but they aren't consistent enough and I am not dilated far enough to be considered "admittable" at the hospital...SO, they tell me I am in the early stages of labor. Which could mean that I could deliver anywhere from tonight, to Wednesday. Not fun. They suggested a lot of the same things you fine ladies have suggested to help speed up the process. I'm working on it. My mom and sister are on call. They are all packed up and ready to race down here when I call them with the final decision from the hospital to admit me. The very good news is, they said that Elliott is a very healthy boy from what they can tell. It was nice hearing his heartbeat for an hour straight. And as you may have guessed, every now and then we could hear him hit the monitor in rebellion. He's so dang cute.
As for Preston, he is almost 100% better! The only symptom he has left is some tiredness..which, to be honest, has always been a symptom of his, even without Mono. So that is a relief.
I know a lot of you already are, but please pray for Elliott and me in this next little while. That he may be born very SOON, but more importantly that he can be as healthy as the nurses seem to think he is.

Oh! This is so exciting! You'll be a momma so so so so soon! I'm jealous (don't tell Robert, he'd be happy to make babies RIGHT NOW. I must hold off his daddy bug a bit longer). ANYWAY...I'm so excited for you both! I hope Preston is well enough to give you both giant kisses. <3 <3 <3
Good Luck on all this! I ran for 45 minutes straight the night before (kepping in mind I didn't do any exercising the whole pregnancy) That really seemed to help me and I was even two weeks early on my delivery, I just wanted him OUT! My body was so uncomfortable... You on the other hand must be VERY uncomfortable. We're praying for you too. Good luck Kersey, I am so excited for you. Welcome to a new life without sleep.
Prayers for sure Kerz. Hang in there. I hope he comes quickly. Love, elaine
