I just wanted to take a second to make a shout out to all of you amazing moms who let your kids do crazy things (within reason). I know there are a lot of mothers out there who are pretty up tight and don't let their kids have very much fun. They are robbing their children of a good time as well as themselves. Of course, I don't mean we should let our kids run amuck and do WHATEVER they want, but things like playing with the faucet in the sink and spraying it around the kitchen a bit, and playing covered in chocolate pudding on the kitchen floor. These are things that are pretty easily cleaned up and the kids love it! So why not? If you are a mom who lets her kids do random things like the previously mentioned, pat yourself on the back and have a little ice cream. You deserve it. You are a Wicked Awesome Mom. And I know your kids just love you for it.
