We're Goin' Home!

It has been WAY too long since Preston and I went home (Florida)..so...WE'RE GOING! We are really excited to not only see tons of people (family and people we consider family) but also to introduce Elliott to them. I have to admit, I am also very excited to go to the beach. We originally wanted to surprise Preston's parents (who still live in FL unlike my folks) by showing up to church right after landing and walk into church like we own the place, like we were supposed to be there. I would have LOVED to see their reactions. But, we decided to tell them because Linda (Preston's mom) teaches at a university and we were worried that she would be in the middle of finals week or something and therefore wouldn't be able to spend time with us. SO, we told. Their reactions over the phone were great. I am already starting to plan out our week there. It will be FANTASTIC! Any ideas of what we should do?

Also, if you live in FL make yourself available! We would LOVE to see you! Some of you, (Hayley and Robert) would have to travel from out of town to come and see us, but trust me, if you make the effort, I will make it worth your while! We really do rock.

Aw, I wish we could too. It's a big MAYBE. We're trying to watch our money and it's an 8 hour drive down to Ft. Myers for us. I'll see if I can pull some strings!

What if we have a bake sale to earn money towards the "send Hayley and Robert to Ft. Myers charity fund!"? Ok, so maybe that wouldn't work. People in our society don't care that much anymore. I bet if we still lived back in "Little House on the Prarie" times, the whole town would bake pies just to sell to each other in order to raise money for such a cause. Ah well. In the mean time, we will keep our fingers crossed that you can come!
