Even though Ella's birthday was on March 25th, Brooke decided to hold off on having Ella's first birthday party until some family could come from Florida to celebrate with us. She themed the party after a children's picture book called...
So the theme was FANCY! Everyone was supposed to dress up way over the top, 100% FANCY! Tutu's, tiaras, bow ties, the works!

I LOVED seeing her dive into her cupcake. I missed Hayes' first birthday because I was on my mission, so it was GREAT to see her in action!
It was also nice to see Hayes in some cupcake action
(he had 3!)
My men! All FANCIED up! I tried to have them match as much as possible. I ended up having to make Elliott's hat because I couldn't find a top hat small enough for him.
And apparently Hayes knows the pledge of allegiance. But I only caught the last part on camera.
All in all it was an AMAZINGLY, FANTASTICLY FANCY PARTY! Brooke did an awesome job..a little TOO awesome! I don't know how she's going to live up to this in the birthdays to come!

Elliot is a vest lover too! (Or at least his mom is)Ev has 2 vests and he wears one nearly every sunday even though one is way too small, I love how tight it is on him. anyways, keep the vests come, they are so cute on little guys!
