This past week was my dad's birthday. Since he went on a 4 wheeling trip, we had to celebrate it a few days after the glorious day. So over conference weekend, we all got together at my parent's new house in Huntsville, Utah. It was a very nice weekend. Here we see my dad, Chuck, with 3 pictures of hens. Why you ask? Well, this was Preston and mine's gift for my dad. He and my mom want to get a chicken coop to have on their property to produce eggs (no chicks). But since they are not yet ready with a fully equipped home for any chickens, we simply gave him these pictures as sort of an "I.O.U." for when they are ready to receive such a gift. On the pictures there are word bubbles that say the following. 1. "See ya soon." 2. "If you build me a home, I will come." and 3. "Adopt me, love me, use me!" He liked it. He and my mom were both very grateful we didn't just go ahead and get them the hens.
