Everyone Hail To The Pumpkin Throne!

HALLOWEEN!

As Brooke was applying Hayes' Halloween makeup, he kept getting distracted and turning his head. Here we see Brooke having just told him "Hayes, look at me!" In obedience, he didn't actually turn his head towards her (which is what she wanted), he just moved his eyes.

As you can see here, Hayes was "Little Franky" (aka Frankenstein's Monster) for Halloween. It was a great costume. Perfect for Hayes because it was mostly green! Hayes doesn't like scary things, so some of Halloween was too much. So, every time someone told him he looked scary (intending to give a compliment) he just said "No! I don't look scary. I just look like Hayes Mortensen!" It was good stuff.

This was my first Halloween with Hayes. It was a lot of fun to go trick or treating with him. At the first house, because it was kind of new to him, he knocked on the door until someone answered and when they did answer he tried to go inside. When we told him that he just needed to be outside and get the candy, he looked up at the woman who owned the house and asked "Can I come in?" It was really cute.

I was "Mother Eve" (Pregnant Eve) for Halloween. I was going to be an octopus, but due to a lack of time, didn't get around to making the costume. This costume has been used three or four times now for Halloween. I look like a sack of potatoes.

It was a very fun night full of trick or treating, hot dog roasts and smores. All in all, a great Halloween!
