And The WinnerS Are....

Congrats Donna and Lisa!

I am pretty dang sure that this is the same Sbarro that Michael Scott while running to, says "I'm gonna go get me a New York slice!"

The horse is sticking his tongue out at the camera! Nice.

The whole reason we got to go to NY is because brooke was invited to a fashion show and to have her jewelry auctioned off as a fundraiser for epilepsy. Jillian was the host!

I don't know who this is, but Brooke did. Elliot Yamin? From American Idol?

This is Brooke's "Don't you wish you were here, Vernon" face.

This one's for you lease!

It was delicious!

Our nasty mode of transportation...the subway.

One of my MUST SEES. I was a little dissappointed, but still, now I can say I have been to STRAND bookstore. 18 miles of used and new books!

WICKED! We got to go see wicked on broadway! And as you can see in this picture, we were in the 5th row! Perfect seats! We all loved it!

Central Park! Mom's favorite site I believe.

Person sleeping on the rocks??

Awesome bridge in Central park...

Our Sexy poses under the bridge..I guess I haven't seen enough gross billboards to be able to duplicate the poses..this is DEFINITELY not one of them!

Mom and I walked literally miles just to get to see the Statue of Liberty. Well, AND Greenichvillage (my favorite part of NY!) It was our 2nd trip to Greenichvillage..I HIGHLY recommend!

I was pretty dang tired. The only shoes I took on the trip were different pairs of chucks..my dogs were killin' me!

Can anyone tell me why Lacawanna is significant? At least to me?

The weird man built his house upon this rock...

NY pizza! Oh so good!

Does it still count if the pizza was made by an Italian guy in an Amish Market?

Ground Zero. The whole place was sectioned off by this fence because they are building a memorial park of sorts. It was pretty touching being there. It's hard to imagine just how big the towers were until you see the actual space.

And this is our apartment we rented for the long weekend. Nice little street, right? ONE BLOCK FROM HARLEM! Scary stuff.
All in all we had a GREAT trip! It was our first "girls" trip of many to come. Now I can officially say that:
