Belly + Elliott = Belliott

Preston and I have decided to call my "baby bump" Belliott. I hope that doesn't need explaining. But just in case it does, please see the title to this post. Speaking of Belliott, about a month ago Preston was able to feel him kick for the first time and hasn't been able to since then. Until 2 days ago. He was really happy and satisfied with how strong our little man is becoming.

In other news, I have discovered two new "talents" I would like to develop. They will remain a secret until I am able to actually follow through with them. I am very excited though. I will give you a hint, they are crafty! I know, me? Crafty? Well, we're just going to have to wait and see.

In other, other news...Christmas shopping has been on my mind a lot lately. I love thinking of things for specific people and thinking about how happy it will make them to know that I thought THAT much about it. So far I have just about everything bought.

Perhaps the hardest person in the WORLD to shop for is my dad. The way his personality is, if he sees something he wants, he just buys it for himself not thinking of the consequences that might affect his loved ones who are striving dearly to get him something for the occasion.

My mom is exactly the opposite. She is awesome about not buying herself things. Unless, she still buys them as often as given the opportunity...maybe she just has A LOT of things that she likes and wants. I may be on to something.

Brooke use to be someone that was a tiny bit difficult for me to buy for when we were in high school etc. But now, I feel like I know her so well that I can determine what she likes before she can! It's great!

Court on the other hand is perhaps even more difficult to buy for than my dad. Not because he buys anything for himself, but because he says he doesn't need anything, or he hasn't thought about what he wants. Talk about tricky!

Hayes and Ella are generally pretty easy because they are so young. Last year was one of my most triumphant Christmas purchases. I bought Hayes a green motorcycle that he can use his feet to scoot himself around on. He really loved it. Mostly because it was green I think. As for Ella, this is her first Christmas. So I better make it a goodin'!

This is the motorcycle I got Hayes last year, except his was green.
Preston is generally very easy to buy thoughtfully for. It's kinda hard NOT to know what the love of your life wants. I wont put here what I am getting him, but I am VERY excited to see his face when he opens it on Christmas morning!

I just love the Christmas season.
