A few weeks back, I posted this picture:

I know what you are thinking, "Wow! Preston is amazing! He went out and bought that tea kettle for Kersey even though it wasn't a special occasion!" Though that would be nice of him, and if we had had the funds for it, I am sure he would have, the tea kettle came from another source.
My dear childhood friend, Lisa Brower (formerly Browne) read about my new obsession with this tea kettle on here, looked it up and bought it for me as an early Christmas present! AMAZING I know! Lisa emailed me and told me to be expecting an early Christmas present in the mail, but I had no idea that she would get me my dream kettle. When it came this past week in the mail I was confused as to what this UPS man could possibly be delivering to us. We hadn't ordered anything and I was expecting the early Christmas present to come in a box from Florida. When the package said "Macy's" I freaked! I ripped it open to discover my tea kettle with a sweet note from Lisa! I ran into the bedroom where Preston was taking a nap and showed him my new present. At first he was confused as well. I think he thought I had just bought it myself despite the fact that we are trying to SAVE money right now. As soon as I said "It's an early Christmas present from Lisa!" He slowly formed a huge sweet smile on his face and said "Man! She is a great friend!" I said "I KNOW!" Then he said, "Well, now I don't need to get that for you for Christmas."
I am so grateful for my gift from Lisa. It means a lot to me and it is now one of my prize personal possessions. I am also grateful Lisa gave me this gift now because if she hadn't I would have had to wait until after Christmas to start enjoying "tea season"!
Over all, Lisa, you are a dear sweet friend. I think of you every time I fill my lovely new tea kettle with water and these thoughts fill me with warmth and happiness. I love you.
