But this year we were given an artificial tree, that takes care of the no $$ problem. We live in a bigger apartment with plenty of space for a tree, and as for the time, well, that is still an issue, but we did it anyway. This lamp is what I was going to use if we didn't get a tree. Even though I like my Christmas trees with only white lights and nothing else, I would have bought some big ball ornaments to put on the lamp. Maybe I still will...
It isn't much of a tree, but it makes us happy. The only problem is some of the lights "twinkle" and we want them to just be still. Not in rave mode. Any ideas as to how we could get these lights to simmer down?
I love wrapping the presents and putting them under the tree way before Christmas. It makes it seem like Christmas is tomorrow day after day. The anticipation is great!

All of my gifts for people are wrapped and under our tree already too!
